Biography

Elanne A Bueno was born and raised in Brazil. She graduated in 2012 with an Associate in Science in Nursing from St. Vincent’s College; in 2016 she received her Bachelor of Science and in 2018, she received her Master of Science in Nursing Education from Sacred Heart University. She graduated from Regis College, Easton-MA, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, with focus on education, in August of 2023. She is highly skilled; she has years of experience working in acute, long-term, and short-term care facilities. She is a Magnet Champion and attended the Magnet Conference in 2018. She is a critical catalyst in developing a CNA Training Program as a pathway for new hires for an inner-city hospital. Elanne initiated her nursing educator career in 2019, teaching part-time in the License Practical Program. In 2021, she transitioned to full-time nurse educator in the RN program by taking on the role of a clinical coordinator at CT CCNP – Naugatuck Valley, responsible for placing over 200 nursing students every semester. In addition, her role includes supporting the nursing program as a clinical instructor. Her passion for teaching also gave her a clinical instructor role with Quinnipiac University, where she helps to infuse the art of nursing into several nursing students, one semester at a time. She is a role model, a mentor, a preceptor, and a nurse educator, sharing her knowledge and expertise with hundreds of students every year.
