Biography

Kathryn began her career in Nursing with the BSN from Widener University in 1991. She worked in various specialties at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, PA, and also as a Travel Nurse within the United States. She then gained the courage to pursue her dream of becoming a Peace Corps volunteer in 1998. She thoroughly enjoyed and values her two years in Nepal as a Community Health Nurse Educator. She completed the MSN in Adult Primary Care/ Oncology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002, with Board Certification with ANCC. Her journey continued as a Nurse Practitioner with a thriving Hematology/ Medical Oncology practice in Cape May County, NJ until 2021. With a gnawing desire and openness to change, Kathryn stumbled upon an opportunity to make a pivot in her career. She is grateful to now be involved with a Federally Qualified Health Center in Atlantic City, NJ. Kathryn now specializes in HIV Care and Prevention, Hepatitis, Sexually Transmitted Infections, and Latent Tuberculosis. She achieved Certification with the American Academy of HIV Medicine in 2023.
